Bluetooth HFL replacement

I just had the box replaced. It now responds but will not pair and doesn't understand voice commands. The voice commands on the other features work fine, did I get a defective hfl box?

Anyone else deal with this? My stereo doesn't work too, I wonder if there is any related cause. I plugged in a 08 amp but that didn't work either, the stereo is still down. Might as well own one of those old english cars... seems they have better electrical reliability.

Take it back to whomever install it and describe the issue to them.

It was installed at home. I'm likely gonna have the dealer hook up to the car and try to fix it.
