Bluetooth help!!

Help me

I bought my TL, had both my phones linked and working great (Motorola E815 & V710). I had the car for 3 weeks, then i got rear ended. I just got it back today (12 weeks later) and now i cant get my bluetooth to find my phones.

I deleted both the phones, and tried to re-pair just like usual, and it wont find the damn phones. neither of them and i'm doing all the right steps (discovery, BT powered on)

Now, im a computer tech and i cant even figure this out? am i missing something ? theres no bluetooth fuse to check, and the HFL system appears to be working fine. It just wont pair my phones.

Any suggestions? PLEASE

Might want to ask in the audio/bluetooth/electronic subforum, you will probably have much more feedback

Take it to your dealer and have them fix it and send the bill to the insurance company that insures the guy who rear ended you.

Why waste time trying to figure it out on here?

Bluetooth won't listen

I'm having an issue getting Bluetooth to work...not just with my particular phone. The problem is that it won't listen to me. I push the button to enter bluetooth mode, say "Phone Setup" and it goes into setup and gives me the options. At that point, when I try to say any of the options (edit, pair, list, etc.) it does nothing. I've tried it countless times as well as had my wife try to go through it and have had no success (I thought maybe the female bluetooth voice would listen to another woman).
There was another point at which I got it to ask me if I wanted the bluetooth to use the female or male voice and when I tried to give a preference, nothing.
Could there be something wrong with the mic? Software? Or is it user error?
Where exactly is the mic located?

It is very possible that there is something wrong with the mic. I believe it is located near the HomeLink buttons.

I suggest that you take it to your local dealer for some diagnostics.

D'Oh!

It was user error. The little sprial-bound booklet that came in the owner's pack does not tell you to push the talk button at each prompt. I found the little flash video on the Honda Owners Link website that walks you through the process and it set me straight. It got my phone linked and was even able to call someone.
