Blue Tooth Phone Interface Locking UP

Has anyone experienced the car interface locking up .It requiring the car to be off before the panel with the computer and phone display will work again? All button become inoperable. The steering wheel and the buttons below it.

Mine just started doing that last night, but turning the car off did not help. The steering wheel buttons won't work at all and if you press the Info center button it says "Bluetooth Booting Up"

Guess I have to take my car to the dealer on Monday!

Bluetooth locking up

hey abwolf13 ... that happened to mine 2004 TL with Navi the second day that I got it. Mine said "Phone in use" and I couldn't use the radio.

In order for Acura to troubleshoot this issue you might want to leave it that way under you get to the dealer... but if you want to unlock try disconnecting the battery for about 5 minutes ..... it unlocked mine... keep in mind when you do this you will need to enter in the codes for the navi and radio....

Just my 2 cents...

Mine got stuck in phone mode halfway through a 10-hour roadtrip. The system said "Handsfreelink, diagnostic mode", but gave me no further choices. Pulling the fuses marked audio and backup for 5 minutes did the trick, but I think it has more to do with the V600 being a piece of crap than anything else (I'm on my second).

P.S. Has anyone had problems adjusting the volume while in a call? Sometimes I can, but usually I can't.

Disconnecting the Battery did the trick. If it happens again, I'll bring it in.

SO IS IT BETTER TO DISCONNECT MY BATTERY AND DO ALL THAT OR JUST WAIT TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP ON SATURDAY AND LET THEM HANDLE IT...ALSO WHAT KINDA CODES YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. ALSO IF WE DISCONNECT THE BATTERY, WILL I LOOSE ALL MY SAVED NUMBERS AND ALL MY SAVED DESTINATIONS.

Mine did this three times in the first six weeks that I owned the car. On the third service visit the dealer replaced the Bluetooth module. At the time, the phone system manufacturer was very interested in tracking down individual cases to troubleshoot, but that was way back in the first two months after the car was released, so they may have more experience of it by now.

Sorry, I habitually ignore all caps, so I missed your comments. The codes referred to are the theft-deterrant codes that are unique to each nav system and audio system. They'll have to be re-entered after disconnecting the battery.

Every time the phone system is completely reset you will lose all your saved numbers. I can't speak for losing saved destinations in the nav.
