I have been using my Blackberry 7290 through Cingular since last November. It has worked fine until the last 10 days. Now, no one can understand me when I call. Every other word is dropped when I speak into the microphone. I have all windows shut and the fan turned off, but no joy. The sudden change baffles me.

Any ideas?

 

Make sure bluetooth encryption on the phone is disabled

 

Thanks for the tip. I found the setting under "Device Properties" and changed it for my Jabra headset and the Hands Free Link in the TL. Meanwhile, after I CLEARED all data from the TL's HFL, the phone problem seemed to go away. At least those I call have stopped complaining.

 

I have the 7290 and thinking about a TL, do you see the phone number calling on the dash, and what other features to you get?

it only displays the signal strength and battery status....no caller id
