Battery Draining Bluetooth lockedup

Hi,

my bluetooth phone is locked up on my TL2004. It drains the battery according to bulletin TSB 05-020.
Do you think i can just unplug or remove the HFL unit only to avoid the battery drainage? i will not use the phone anyway cause i bought a bluetooth car kit for 50$ rather than 600$

will that affect my navi screen? i don't use the voice command for the navi anyway too.

thanks

you should be able to unplug the module (in the dome lights panel in the front) and not have any problems at all.

i will test it this weekend. Also, yesterday i press Talk and End for 10seconds and i can hear the Lady talking from the speaker that: ''HFL is OK". but when i press Talk, my mileage sreen just turn blank and cannot use the radio anymore either redo the Talk and End reset button. i have to turn off the car, wait a couple of minutes before i can use the radio again...strange
