Back up camera

Has anyone figured out to to make it light up faster when you placed in reverse at night on navi 08 models?

Light up faster? Your backup lights don't come on very fast when shifting into reverse? Hmmm I haven't noticed if mine are slow or not. Usually by the time I look at the screen it's lit up.

If it is factory installed, there may be a delay relay inline somewhere to prevent it from flashing onscreen as you shift from Park to Drive. I know the guys who are putting HIDs in their reverse lights are adding this relay to prevent the quick HID flashes as they shift into Drive.
I have also noticed that on my aftermarket system, the Navi hack image you use can also introduce a delay in the display coming up. Make sure it fits the requirements specified in the Navi Hack thread instructions. I custom designed an image and added some text. The image works, but there is a slight delay in loading which I have yet to investigate fully.
