i set my navi to auto but when i drive at night it still show the navi in day time mode. i have to manually change it everytime. is there a way to fix it or reset the navi some how?

 

This has been asked a hundred times. Make sure your brightness level on the dash is not set to max.

 

I'm not 100% sure, but isn't this the problem when you have the instrument panel brightness set to it's max level?

I think that's what I read in another thread somewhere. Try changing that.

edit: Yeah, that's what I thought.

 

Note also that the "MAX" button works as a toggle switch. This is useful to remember if you have reason to turn on your lights during the day, say because of rain or because you're on a two-lane road, and your Navi suddenly goes dark. Just hit "MAX," then the next time you drive at night just hit "MAX" again.
