Audio Upgrade - Installer Thoughts
Hi all -
First post but feels like I've been around awhile because I've read tons of threads. I'm building a system and am going to bring it somewhere to be installed in AZ sometime before Thanksgiving. I had a system done by Arizona Auto Werks but think I might go with someone else this time. Here's what's going in...
-Infinity Reference 5761a 6-channel
-Infinity Reference 611a class D mono
-Diamond Audio MacDaddy 10.4 subs
-MB Quart RVF 216 6.5 component speakers (2 pair)
-David Navone Engineering line output converters (thx King of Pain for the guidance)
-Stinger HPM 1 farad cap
Any feedback would be appreciated. I'll post pics once it's all in.

You might want to get some tweeters to replace the stock ones also. The stock size is 1", but you could fit a smaller size, I bought size 7/8". I would recommend that you replace the center channel speaker too. Stock size is 3.5", you'll only need one but we both know that speakers are sold in pairs. The center channel speaker is closest to your ears, being that it is located up front on top of the dash, so it would be best to get rid of the crappy stock ones since your replacing the rest of your speakers.
The MB Quarts are a component set that replace the tweeters in the stock location (they actually can be mounted similarly to coax, which will be done on the rear deck lid). I considered replacing the center channel but seeing how it doesn't operate during stereo playback and I'm not listening to DVD-A, I don't see any need right now. Thanks for your input.
