Audio noise

After doing the DVD mod... (Dom's unit, Dice unit, Accelevision) I've notice I get electrical audio noise when the engine is running. Crystal clear audio when engine is not running......any remedy to this annoying noise problem would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what a dvd mod is, but I would guess you had a ground wire come loose from the head unit or need to put one on (or a better / cleaner contacting one) the device(s) you installed during this mod. you may have a ground loop.

....DVD mod? I thought I was clear in my statement. Able to view dvd's, etc. thru the Navi. Thank you for your suggestion. I will go back and look into where I grounded all the units.

You may have been clear before, but only to those people that are familiar with what you had listed or knew you had a nav. I just haven't heard of those items listed, as I don't have a nav TL, so I just assumed they were hardware bits.

Anyway, good luck finding the source of the noise, I do know what a pain that can be

Hey berzerker......it was the DVD unit that was improbably grounded. I relocated that ground wire and now no annoying electrical audio noise......once again Thanks

nicely done. Ain't nothing worse than doing all that work and you're all excited about hearing/seeing your project finished only to have something so small bring it all back down again.

hope it wasn't too much work to get it fixed. Now go enjoy it!
