Audio Help! Factory amp replacement

Whats up guys. So recently, i got two 10 inch subs installed into the trunk of my TL. Rockford Fosgate Punch dual 4 Ohm with a ported box running off a precision power p600.2 amp. The subs are bridged so it is running max power. Anyways, I recently moved to the interior of my car and replaced the door speakers. I removed the factory speakers in the doors and have infinity reference 6032cf speakers installed and I can already tell you they are not getting the power they need. Thus meaning they need more power I am turning to replacing the factory amp located under the glove box. I have looked at the Rockford fosgate punch pbr 300x4 to do this task. It is a simple plug and play for this car. With that being said will this work? I am still new at this and want to make sure that

1.) my car will have enough power to run these two amps I have

2.) how will this effect my after market subs? when they were installed the remote wire was tapped into the factory amp. will they still work in the new amp?

thank you so much in advance I know there may be other forums out there that could help, but I am still new to this and any help would be awesome thanks!

why touch the stock amp? just put a class D amp under your driver seat to run the front components and you'll be good to go. i would switch out those speakers and get a component set (separate tweeters and door speakers..put tweeters in stock location)

i bought a budget set of speakers like you did (jbl) and recently switched them out to image dynamics ctx65cs and the result is night and day...they sound so good compared to my other aftermarket speakers

I hadn't thought of that and how would that work when all of the wiring for the speakers is running through the stock amp? I was going to replace the stock amp to provide more power to everything on the interior and give all of the speakers the needed power. I will definitely look at more component speakers and I was still planning on replacing the tweeters on the dash. I just need to get more power for a better wound right now thank you for the help

you take the front component wiring going into the stock amp, cut it, then redirect it to your new amp, then take the output from the new amp, and splice it into the wires going to the front components at the stock amp output area

i'm not even close to being an expert in audio but i don't think it's going to sound good if you use the speakers you currently have and add external tweeters also

what is the difference in doing that rather than just replacing the stock amp? what would the stock amp be used for afterwards?

might be hard to find an amp that size to replace the stock one and give you the power you're looking for. you'd also lose center channel. and retap your sub amp remote wire (not that hard)

the rockford amp i listed above fits perfectly in the stock spot and is basically a plug and play by all means look up that amp and tell me what you think because the review ive read have all been good so far from it. also since i will be getting this new amp and alreadyn have one for my subs in the trunk, should i be concerned about my car battery? I replaced it last month and it is way more powerful than my old one

amp seems fine, others may be able to give you more details. read up on the PnP stock amp replacement thread. they should mention what you lose when switching from the stock amp. i know a vendor had to do a certain harness/modification to the amp.

car battery should be fine. if not, you could do the big 3 upgrade to start.

Sockr gave you solid advice. keep OEM for rear fill and center channel. quality amp under the seat for front components.

High end shops charge 150/hr and a medium shop probably 100/hr. It will probably be 300-400 dollars just for labor. Hence why I researched as much as I could, went thru lots of "learning pains" but saved money and gained new knowledge
