attractive buttons and switches
Where can I get some really good buttons and switches. I'm trying to get something to switch the nav to dvd and also xm to aux. The switches and buttons at radio shack are tacky. Also...lighted ones are cool as well. How can I install the power to these switches so they can turn on with the headlights. I want them moderately bright.

I just ordered a few of these for my nav2dvd install. I'm going to put them in my glove box.

Here is a great, cheap site. http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...700&type=store . A lot of people on my other forum, halloweenforum, use that site and have good customer service results.

Hey, I just wanted to ask how you got the dvd sound out of XM. Did you have to cut the XM line and if so, where exactly do you have to cut and splice? BTW, that blue rocker switch is nice.

I didn't do it myself. I just printed it and gave it to the shop to install. It worked great. The only thing is, I wish the dvd audio was a bit louder.
Unfortunately, I probably won't end up using the rocker switches I ordered. See pictures of my install here: DVD Player
You'll see the switches in the driver footwell area. You can't see them when you're sitting normally, so this worked out even better than in the glovebox.
