Anyone have Disturbed DVD-A??

I'm not into this type of music, so I don't know what groups besides Disturbed, and maybe Metallica, Megadeth, have DVD-A's out there, and what fans think of the DVD-A. I have a buddy who is, and would like to get one. So basically, give me a review of the disturbed DVD-A, or a DVD-A by a group that would fall into that type of music. Thanks!

I assume you mean their "Believe" release on DVD-A. I have it and it sounds great. "Ten Thousands Fists" was just released, but I haven't been able to find it on DVD-A yet.

Good to know. How about a review of the DVD-A compared to the CD in sound quality, surround use, can you tell a difference inbetween the two? a noticable difference? Are the use of surrounds gimmicky? Or more of a natural use? Thanks for the help. Also, any other DVD-A's that you bought that is similar to this group?

I am not much of an audiophile, but I think it sounds natural and is not gimmicky.
As far as other bands go, if you like Korn, they have a Greatest Hits CD that includes a live DVD from CBGB's that is in 5.1. Using techniques posted on this board, I created a DVD-A of that, and it is my favorite one so far. I also converted a DualDisc of Offsprings Greatest Hits.

Online is your best bet to find DVD-A's and DualDiscs. Circuitcity.com, buy.com, and towerrecords.com are one's I use to buy them. They all have free shipping.

Is the dualdisc of Offspring not DVD-A on the DVD side? You must have converted from DVD-V over to DVD-A then?
