Anybody Ever Installed Wireless Heaphones??

I'm wondering if there is a way to install a wireless headphone setup in my 3G Navi TL. has anyone tried that? Any idea if there is a Blitzsafe adapter or similar product that will give access to the receiver's line or speaker outputs (would obviously have to be a stereo out)?

Let me know if any of my learned colleagues have any advice on this topic.
Thanks!

well it depends what you want to go thru the wireless headphones, if your going for the navigation conversion, you can easily avoid having to go thru all the blitzsafe stuff and just hook the wireless headphones up to your DVD player or PS2. but if you want to have the option for both it would get more complicated and i think u would need to add another auxillary port along with the blitzsafe.

It seems you could just tap into the signal in the same way folks are doing for aftermarket amps. It may be easiest to tap into the front left and right speaker wires with a converter and avoid getting behind the center console.

Would these by RF or infrared headphones? For IR, it would be cool to mount the transmitter near the map lights on the ceiling for coverage to all the seats.

Headphones

Thanks guys. I would probably use IR as RF may get some interference in the vehicle from comoputer chips, ignition etc. I thought about doing a tap from the front speakers. I just woundered if there might be a plug n play module that would give me an output, and save some wire stripping. Thanks again!

Alright, I gotta ask: Why would you need the stereo to go into headphones?

Why?

Well, let's put it this way.
My wife grew up in Europe, and tends to dislike my tendency to crank the stereo when System Of A Down, or Disturbed comes on Squizz. I'm an old heavy metal rocker, and I like it loud, so the phones might be the answer.
