Amp wiring question

OK... need opinions... I cant handle not having my thump anymore... I want to get my Infinity Basslink Sub wired up in the TL and want to know:
First: where you guys run the feed wire for the amp power... up the middle of the car (under the console and such) or down the door sills/railings...

Second: can I tap into the on/off signal wire for the factory amp to turn my Infinity sub on and off?

Third: My sub has audio jack inputs as well as direct feed input. can I disconnect the factory sub and rout those directly into the Infinity sub feed. I've never ran pre-powered wires into an amp before.

I think on the basslink if you run high power inputs you dont need the separate trigger signal. run power down drivers side sill. Its closest to firewall penetration and battery

The stock HU is on all the time. It is necessary for HFL and Navi (if applicable). Most of us use and accessory fuse (like #32) to power the audio equipment.

I ran my wire down the drivers side. Around the foot rest can be tricky if your wire is thick - I have to modify the trim to fit over 0 gauge.

You can use the signal from the sub in the trunk. The gold/black wire is the positive.

thanks... you guys are awesome!

I've had this sub for literally about 10 years and it still looks new and thumps with no problems...
