Amp power wire through firewall

Hey guys, I know this topics been beat to death but I guess I'm blind cause I can't find the grommet in the engine bay that many recommend to put their amp power wire through. I have a 2008 TL type S with a 6speed... I figure that shouldn't change the location of the grommet though.

Also, how do you guys manage reaching your arm that far into the engine bay to pull the power wire? I have a giant strut bar and fuse box in the way and I hope I don't have to remove both. Would it be easier to jack up the car and reach from the bottom?

I added a picture of where I believe the grommet is supposed to be. If someone could circle it or something to lead me in a better direction? I'm hoping I don't have to drill a hole.

Oh boy... I'll be real embarrassed if this is the case. I'll check and get back to you. Still curious about how to get my arm down in that section though

And by other side of firewall that could mean two things.............but let me tell you it is much easier finding a path from the interior of the car to the engine compartment than the other way around. so look under and behind the dash. look for the penetrations and grommets that are blocked off on your car because it is left hand drive. The right hand drive models use these penetrations. and you can too for wiring.

Interesting.. didn't think about the difference between left and right hand drive. Still can't find the grommet from the outside though... I can't remove the strut bar til later. I'll try looking under the dash today. Since my steering wheel is on the left would there be more open grommets on the right?
