i have almost no knowledge whatsoever about amp, ohm, etc. so please do not flame my post.
i have an alpine f300 4ch with fronts and real speakers (2 way) polk db651. It does sound really good and i now upgraded the factory tweeters. The tweeters (4ohm 100rms)) still sound so tiny compare to my system and i assume that the tweeter still getting power from the factory amp. The gain amp in my front speakers is half way so i assume the amp have more room to power something else.
Can i connect my tweeters together with my front speakers (tweeters do have a crossover) to be amp front channel. i don't know what would happen if i do, maybe damage the front and speakers.
I haven't touch anything yet and will not until someone advice me on what can be done.
last question, if for any reason i'm asking just a stupid question and cannot be amp, what can i do to make my new tweeter sound alive. thanx
