Their are some 6s out there, and if you like the DVD-A capability you would be best off using that. There is/are a member(s) here who did a really nice system upgrade with a 6 channel amp.

i read some people used 4 channel amps for fr and rr components and then used their stock amp to power the center channel speaker. you could try that? as far as amps go it all depends on your budget. what are you looking to spend?

zapco
arc
diamond
pheonix gold

just to name a few.

i went with a phoenix gold xenon 600.1 for my sub. I know they have a xenon 4 channel amp but I think it's like 200 watts per channel @ like $350. Maybe a little overkill. I would also look into JL 300/4. That should be around 3 bills and are like 75wrms X 4. I know a buddy of mine had the JL is his car with some Boston Acoustics speakers and it was LOUD! It screamed. VERY VERY clean amp!! Or maybe you could try the Arc 4150XXK. I don't know anyone running it but it looks well built. Just so many choices!

If you're on a limited budjet, try going with the Phoenix Gold Octane R 8.0:4 It's 125w x 4 which should be enuf power. I've read pretty good things online about the Octane series and I know phoenix makes a good product. And best part, it's under $150.

Either way, let me know what you pick out and how it sounds in the TL! What speakers r you using?

I dont know if the Phoneix can power my Diamond Audio D661's. I use a JL 250/1 to power a pair of old 10w0's. I'm pretty satisfied with the amount of bass i have. I just want the system a little louder and possibly cleaner. I heard the JL 300/4 is a good amp. I have someone willing to install a new one for a little under 400. Should i jsut go with taht?

Lately, I've had my eye on these 3. A little high end but worth every penny.
