Am I nuts?

I recently decided to turn off the voice in the navi and love it, I use navi all the time and was sick of the voice interrupting the audio (especially in audiobooks), I find that I can very easily follow the route just by looking at the map occasionally instead of hearing the directions, has anyone else turned off the navi voice?

The voice seems to bother some people, but I find it helpful when navigating in heavy traffic and I don't have time to keep looking at the screen.
