Alternative carrier to Verizon

Count me in on te group of folks getting sick of Verizon resting on their laurels getting the V710 out. I've stuck with them through the years because while they abaolutely suck at staying on top of technology advances, their network coverage is superior to everyone else out there. And for me, if I'm going to have a cell phone, the most important aspect of it is being able to actually use it, so coverage has been the deciding factor for me.

But with that said, I'm considering having another look at the different carriers out there to see if the playing field has changed since I last looked at it a few years ago. I'm mostly interested in network coverage in new england and down through NJ/PA.

Have other folks switched carriers recently from Verizon and how has that experience been for you in terms of still being able to *reliable* use your cell phone? Or just other folks who use carriers (T-Mobile, Cingular, ATT, etc) besides Verizon? I've never heard anything good about ATT, but would like to hear what others have experienced.

TIA
Mark

Just got off the phone with Motorola support.

DC600 adapter supprts HFP and is due out by the end of July.

V710 is not due out until the Fall.

The hold up is not on the Verizon end of things.

If you're in MA...T-Mobile is a good choice. or even Cingular.
