Are all speakers wired in parallel from stock amp?

In TL, are all speaker wires are connected in parallel from the stock amp? If so, I guess changing a stock speaker with an aftermarket speaker with it's own crossover or bass blocker won't affect other speakers. Is this correct?

yes and correct. putting a capacitor will help for sure..... the front is loaded at 2 ohms because the tweeters and door speakers are in parallel and the rears are 4 ohms. as well as the sub at 4

How about center speaker? Is it parallel? Or is it in serial with other speakers?

Oh wait, I am no audio expert so parallel means each speakers are connected directly to the amp with it's own wiring (6 speakers, 12 wires to amp) and serial wiring means all speakers are connected in serial thus there are only two connections with amp (+ and - wires) Am I understanding this correctly?

yes.....nothing in the car is EVER connected in series except for reverse polarity wiring schemes like doorlocks and windows. you connect in series parallel for audio once you start adding a lot speakers and components for the system at which point you're basically in a competition or you know the math behind what you're doing and how you're doing it.

So what happens if I add a bass blocker (a capacitor) to the center speaker? Does it make any negative effect??

well it takes power to power up the cap so you lose power...but theres really no down side except power loss...sound "quality" will go up a little but not much. there no bass really coming out of the center so i wouldnt worry about it.
