Aftermarket Sub and I need an aux input! (2006)

Hey guys i just put down payment on a '06 TL with Navigation today! I just had a few questions for you guys. (I'm a novice please be patient )

I have a 15" aftermarket subwoofer with amp and enclosure i purchased from my friend for 100$ I know i will need a LOC to make it work but will that allow me to control the level of it with the screen controls? Also if i install it should i unplug the current sub? I plan to listen to mostly hip hop and electronic music with the occasional rock. I want to be able to hear the words to the music haha

Also i want a aux input for it. But a true aux input none of the stuff that replaces a radio station how would i go about doing that?

Thanks!

disconnect OEM sub use that for your LOC connection to the new amp/sub. you will have sub control. Add an iSimple type device for aux input
