Aftermarket Sub DIY

I was looking to find a DIY for install an aftermarket subwoofer and delete the oem one.

I just find a complete DIY ( all speaker & sub ) .... So this is to complete and it don't show very well for JUST the sub ... You undertand ??

Buy a sub, box and sub amp of your choice. disconnect the old OEM sub. Voila!!!!. U understand?

yes I buy the new kit, but I don't know where to plug the new amp ... did I need to pass a 4g wire from the battery to the trunk ?

Yes you need to connect your amp to your car battery as a power source.

- to the car body.

you connect the negative (-) last thing before testing it all out.

high/speaker level input on the amp? connect stock sub wire. If no high level input get a line output converter.

You also need to connect your remote wire to a fuse that goes on and off with your car. This way your amp doesn't drain down your battery when your car is off. I think I used the fuse for my wipers.

Anyone Know if I can use the remote of the oem amp and the 12volt ?

I bought a 'thing' that i needed to plug on both rear speaker, than exit in rca and plug it on the Amp .. is it a good idea ? ... show you a picture .. this is the little white box .... Sorry if my 'word' are not the good one ..

That thing looks like an LOC. Since you look to be using the post-amp signal...no point in even using it.

I've always just taken the remote from fuse #32 in drivers side kick panel

Thanks ! So if this is the LOC ... it's all right if the wire are connected to the left and rear speakers ?

Now I just need to pass the 8gage from the battery to the Amp and the remote .. fuse 32 to amp !

If yes .. not too complicated !
