After deleting cannot add phone again?

After deleting cannot add phone again?
Hey guys,
I was messing around with my new phone and got to the point where I needed to reset the car's link to the phone. So, I deleted the phone using the HFL delete function. Problem is, when I try to add the phone back, I get as far as entering a name for the phone. At that point, I just get kicked out and back into CD player. Am I doing something wrong?
