Advice Needed For Upgrade Speakers

I been reading and searching back and forth but couldn't find an answer. My car is at 80% complete once I finish with a little mod for the inside. But anyway I'm trying to upgrade my speakers but don't know what to get. I'm looking for a great brand that have amazing bass and clarity. I was thinking about some JL audio but not really sure yet. Can anyone give me some advice or their opinions on what they think is best?

Also does anyone know how to bypass pioneer ash-4200nex? I tried to bypass it so my bluetooth setting will show so I can delete the devices on it.

The stock speakers are kinda small amd so is the opening in the door door behind them. For most aftermarket 6.5 components you will probably have to increase the size of that hole and making a ring of some sort (made mine out of 3/4" mdf painted with primer/sealer). I have Dayton audio RS180-4 in there now... Lots of bass and lower mids... Too much actually... I had Dayton RS150-4 in my last TL which sounded good with the sub integrated well.

So I dunno.... Whatever you want but you will uave to do a bit of work to get them to fit and sound good (i.e. deadener, etc.)

Pride96,
Your question, more than likely will not generate a lot of responses being it is very subjective. Everyone hears music slightly different or may be bias to a certain brand. I have the Image Dynamics XS-65 6.5" 2-Way Components (Tweeter/MIid) for the fronts and the X-65 (Mid) for the rears with the Pioneer AVH-X390BS running 2-Way active and I couldn't be happier. There are better, and more expensive brands, so define your budget and do a little research. Here are a few brands to get you stated; Image Dynamic, Hertz, Focals, Dynaudio (no particular order). Please note if you do not intend to replace the factory amplifier with an aftermarket amplifier, just changing out the speakers are NOT going to render much better sound. Like Stevemk07 stated, some modification to the front doors will be required to accommodate pretty much any 6,5" speaker. The tweeters are located on the dash. If you installed your aftermarket HU, you should have any problem installing speakers. Good luck with your speaker replacement.

I have not tried these speakers in this car as I just got it, But I've always felt that Polk Audio, MB Quarts, Boston Acoustic, and JL Audio have very good sound for your mid-bass, midrange, and highs. I'm partial to Kicker Solo-Baric subs, But the JL W6's sound really clean as well. I know that the Image Dynamics brand has had a long standing reputation for good sounding mids and highs. If your changing out amps, I'd recommend JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, HiFonics, and Alpine. All have very good, clean, and efficient amp designs.

Many good choices out there for speakers and amps. Your budget will define your options... Boston Acoustics products is always a great place though!! All of my own personal installs ALWAYS include BA stuff.
