hello,
ok i have just installed Image dynamics id8d4v3 subwoofer with stock amp, sounds good, but i have 4 year old amp in my garage Hifonics BXi 1606D so.... i think to add it for my subwoofer. I plan to connect Maxxsonics MX-4 before stock amp and then run it to my aftermarket amp Hifonics BXi 1606D . That way i will save some power for my speakers and provide more than enough power for subwoofer. What dou you think? It will work?

could you please suggest good LOC? Just to tab in to my subwoofer wires. Just looking for clean signal and no background sound.

 

I used a stinger up to 55W - forgot the model. It was reasonable/cheap and works great so far... not noise and good SQ.

I did ground mine which some/most people do not do.
