Sorry, confused

Hoping I can get some clarifications. I have the 3.9, want to hack, but I have been reading too many threads I think. I did download the files for my car, but they are .rar files, and now I am lost. Any help on step by step would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.

U need WinRar to decompress the files. Google it for the trial version.
Once you have files decompressed, you need to burn them to a CD, then follow the instructions you've already read to apply the hack.

I did get the Back.bmp to work, but it seems the OK nag and others did not take. I did use the WinRar to decompress. What then do I burn to the disc (you mentioned that they are already modded, so I am to just burn these to the disk, then install in my Navi-DVD?). Thanks again for the help.

I follow all the instruction to the T. Both files and decompress them from rar files to bin. Using a CD-R. I still get the "please check your disc" message instead of the error message. Any thoughts from you tech geniuses?? What am I missing?

3.9 is the version I am using. Confirmed the file needed from the car and the used the loader program. 04 TL orange disc obviously.

You should be able to use the files posted by maddsiick above just as they are. If you want to change the bitmap, I recommend the DumpNavi GUI program for ease of use. Just make sure you remove the tick from the "remove nag screen" option box before running it. I think many problems people are having are related to applying the no nag to an already hacked navi.exe----it doesn't like that.

the problem im having as well as other is that we don't have the loader file we need to burn the file specific to our vehcile that maddsiick posted plus the loading file to get it to work. problem with that the loading file nealkasper posted gave us a link to is out of date and not working. Where can we track down the loading file.

So i downloaded all 3 versions and all the files are supposed to be .bin files, correct?

And the startup screen is supposed to be a .bmp file? I do design all day long and can resize whatever, but I can't find the bmp/bitmap file anywhere

And what's the loader file mygrlsTL is talking about?

Nevermind, i reread this whole thread carefully. I did the mod in less than 2 minutes. The trip stats are awesome as you can see the instant Mpg.

I still can't find the editable .bmp file tho. I'll do a search. thanks for hosting the files!

I must be riding the short bus today...I hit the "Download Now" button and see the timer going...yet, no file. I'm running Mac and I know the firewall at work won't let me get to the website. What's the deal?
