Hi,

I read a while back that Sprint would be releasing their 2nd bluetooth phone. I called Sprint and not surprisingly, they don't know anything about this. I can't think of the model number, but the brand was LG. Anybody have any additional information regarding the release of this phone? Thanks in advance!

I've given up on Sprint. Just ordered the T637 and service from AT&T. I should have the phone and service in a few days. Sprint is woeful in their customer service.

In response to your question I believe the phone you are referring to is made by LG, model LGPM-325.

Sprint will also be releasing the new PalmOne Treo in the fall, which in addition to being a great PDA/phone will have Bluetooth and handsfree profile!

its appears to be a really nice phone, except it isnt megapixel, too bad the other LG 1.3 mp phone isnt coming out with Bluetooth.

Thanks for the update. I wasn't sure when the LG bluetooth phone was coming out. It kept getting pushed back. I guess October isn't too long.

This has be widely posted in the sprint user forums. Word is that the phones have already been shipped to sprint and should be on sale soon.

What people at Sprint are you talking to? I've learned that most most CSRs who answer a phone don't have the knowledge to help a customer and their only value add is to transfer the phone to someone else who might be able to help. The good news is this inefficiency keeps our service economy chugging along.

I've been talking mainly to the CSR's. They have transferred me several times and also I have talked to a few sales people. Half these people have no idea what "Bluetooth" is.

I just talked to Sprint and they didn't see anything about the LG 325 being released in October. They did say they are expecting a bluetooth phone within the next few months. Hope this helps somebody. I am hoping the LG 325 will still be released in October and they are just doing a bad job of notifying their employees.

My friend who works for Sprint got his hands on one. He says it's nice. Mid-October release. No info on price yet.

www.sprintpcsinfo.com is a pretty good site. That's where I broke the news on the LG 325 pictures. There's a thread over there right now discussing how the phone doesn't support OBEX, so you can't do file transfers or calendar syncing between the phone and a PC.

www.sprintusers.com and www.howardforums.com are also good forums.

I just got this info via email with Sprint............the lack of information they provide is mind boggling. If only I did not have another year on my contract they would be history. I have been getting the same story since January when I got my car.

Sprint is coming out with two new bluetotth phones. One is the LG that is shown in this thread which I hear is a pretty good phone, and the other is going ot be a Nokia flip early next year I think.
