Right now my Navigation system in my 04' TL keeps rebooting, sometimes it will get to the map and/or radio screen but only for a few minutes then starts the never ending reboot cycle...
I've read on here that its an Alpine issue, and to send in the trunk unit to Alpine and $150 and they will fix it and send it back. But just to make sure, this issue has nothing to do with the DVD right? I've still got the original DVD, and want to make this $99 purchase, but I guess I'll need the trunk unit fixed first to use it.

yup i just checked and it is over i will call them up tomorrow and hope that they will honor their price i called about my wife's car and they seem to have good customer service there so hopefully i will get lucky. i was waiting till after the hilidays too.

I'll call tomorrow. I checked Friday and it reflected the $99 price but I couldn't order it because we can view secured sites so I waited till I got home, checked last night to order and was WTF?!?! I'll post my findings tomorrow.

Project X has asked this question three times without response. I just got the new disc and am wondering the same thing. Will the old hacks (ok button hack/nag screen) from my previous version 3.4 work for the new disc? Thanks for your feedback.

What is the story behind the letter? I don't want to sound dumb if I call, so I'd like to know what the letter was about/pertains to? Why would I have gotten this letter, etc?

I just called and all the customer service person did was ask if i got a letter or just found the sale online. I told her I received a letter and then she went and talked to someone for a few minutes came back and said she could go ahead and place my order for $99. Shipping is still $9 and you have to pay taxes so my total was $116. She said she didnt know why the website no longer showed the sale price and had it for $185. After talking to them I got the feeling that they sold way too many so they are reverting back to their old price and by the end of this week the sale may be stopped altogether

Glad I saw this... The special pricing is still valid, just call customer service 1-888-549-3798. I just mentioned I received a letter with the $99.00 price. They asked me for a confirmation/ member number? I just said I don't have it in front of me since I'm not at home. They went ahead and placed my order.

Well I called to order my disk yesterday and man it was like pulling teeth! The lady I spoke with said she could only offer me the 185 & free shipping price and the 1/31 promotion date was a typo and supposed to be 12/31. After asking to speak with a manager about 5 times she finally give in and I got it for 99. I don't think this is gonna work much longer

I called yesterday and explained the situation about confusing the date of the sale expiring. After being on hold for a minute or so, she came back and gave me the deal for 99 bucks!!! If you call and are cool about, they have no problem hooking you up. Disc should be here by monday.

i was able to get it today for 99$. Had to call customer service though. Call and ask for Veronica. Or any of them would be able to help them. First time i called and talked to Veronica but when i called back to place the order i talked to a guy. They seem very easy to get it for 99$. Maybe the new model about to come out??

Confirmed, just called Customer Service and told them I received a letter w/ $99 price expiring on 1/31/11. I was put on hold for less than a minute for approval and they honored the $99 price. Get it while you can!

Excellent work guys. I was going to buy a used outdated disc for 50 bucks from another member, but the customer service number & got the latest update for 99 bucks. Spoke with Allison who was very friendly and asked me a limited amount of questions. Should receive my disc on Friday

She said they are had a "glitch" in the system which ended the deal early (12/31/11), but was happy to honor the deal. She even apologized for me having to go through the hassle of calling... i just ordered mine i called that number above that advanced_tl posted and i got that price. talked to emily and first she said it was 185 she was sorry then she said ok do you have the letter, i said no i was at work at the moment and she said it was ok and she would honor the price. 1 paid a total of 118.40 shipped to southern cali. and she said i should see it on friday. if you guys are interested you should jump on this since it wont be going on for too long.
