2007 dash sensor module on passenger side
I searched this forum for a thread about this sensor and found nothing. It's a square module about 1"x1" in size and is raised on top of the dash exactly in front of the driver's side near the windshield glass. My only clue is a light sensor since it looks like it has a lens.
What is it?
What is it?

Anyone else care to answer...it's on the driver side and not the passenger as in the title.

Thanks for the info. Since I don't like the auto headlight feature, I don't have to worry about it. With auto on, lights turn on/off too many times when leaving or entering into a carport/garage/etc. several times a day.

I checked my manual and the auto light auto sensor is the round module on the passenger side.
Does anyone on here know what the square raised sensor with a flat lens is located directly in front of the driver on an 07? Somebody has to know and there's nothing listed in the manual that I have found.

The square sensor is the light sensor for the headlights, put your finger over it on a bright day with your headlights in auto and you will see them turn on.
I asked the question of the dealership and they told me that the square sensor was the sunlight sensor but after the distinguished CSMEANCE pointed out my error I went to the parts list:
http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...s=&view=normal
and found that part number 1 is the sun beam sensor.

part 22 is the auto light sensor.
This puts the issue to bed for me.
