Hi guys I have been searching and its been a journey as there is a lot of info but it seems to never have a solid answer for what i'm looking for.

I am trying to figure out the best way to get bluetooth hands free calling, Streaming of music and a back up camera for my 06 TL with Nav. I have read lots and tried the Stickies for which the links are no longer valid. Since it is now almost 2022 I was hoping to get the best solution for all these items. I know there are threads etc but perhaps this will be a good one for new members to see a up to date thread. I have read through the Tesla Screen thread and I dont like the trim piece not sitting flush. My OCD will go crazy. I have the iSimple installed from the previous owner but the HFL is disconnected. Is just installing a new Deck and getting rid of the whole nav system, the best route.. Pioneer etc.. What options may I be losing that the current Nav Interface uses, I love Apple Car Play so looked at the Navitool but its a bit confusing on what I will need and what I will gain and lose by going that route. finding a wrecked 08 nav etc I have read for the camera is a good way to go but if so what do I need to ask for from the wrecker to make it all happen, I prefer to go with a nice clean option with high resolution so a after market deck with car play.. Just worried the negatives that I cant seem to read about as in options I wont have access to anymore. Oh I have a iPhone 12 Pro and will continue to be a apple fan bay Im afraid , They have me hooked in lol. so apple CarPlay would be great
I know I maybe flamed with the Old Search Button Memes but I have tried and alot of threads are years old so hoping for a 2021 Update thread to clarify the best options for the 04-06 crowd. Thanks In Advance Gents. Not having a back top sensor or camera is very hard to get use too since I have had sensors etc in my last set of cars fro 12 years..

 

I realize this is a redundant thread a little bit but I have honestly searched all other threads trying to get the best answer.. I guess my conclusion is there are different items for what I am asking about , was hoping for a one stop shop does it all. maybe the Tesla style screen is the way but Im reading bugs etc can happen and it aint the cheapest. what are guys doing for Hands free now as I hear the HFL doesn't even work with iPhone 12's and it drains the battery. The previous owner disconnect mine already. Streaming I have the iSimple I believe so I guess I will figure out how to use that. So Hands free and back up camera are my goal.. will see what the stereo shop says on Monday
