08 TL main relay

Does anyone have a photo of the wire harness that powers this relay? I am trying to install my kill switch for the fuel pump wire and i can't seem to find the harness despite my research

Killing power to main relay will kill more than just fuel pump, and except for the fuse it is all internal. If you attempt to start car without it you might get bunch of errors and check engine light. There is a external ground signal coming from fuel pump driver but again errors.
Get yourself a service manual :

I would go for power wire coming out of the fusebox and going straight to the fp.

Unfortunately (for you) that connector is on the rear of the inside fb.

More annoying than hard. You need to be laying down on driver's floor and deal with bunch of connectors, clips, short wires, etc. If you take the trim piece with VSA and mirror controls you might see fuse box better.

I've already taken all the dash off and gotten under where the fuse box is located. I'm fine with getting in there and doing it, I just wanna make sure I don't do something catastrophically wrong. So basically a couple screws and clips and it'll come out? simple, but uncomfortable?

That's your fuel pump kill switch? What is the reason you are installing it?

Why not hide it better then? I would put it under or between the seat and center console. I'm don't know how they steal cars but if they got far enough to bypass the ignition switch then flipping big black unlabeled switch doesn't seem so far fetched.

Get that service manual. I didn't find a video but then I didn't look very long. Those airbag connectors and plastic clips (if you don't want to break them) usually are biggest issue. But once you figure out how airbag connectors work they usually disconnect easily.

In terms of anti theft, I've heard a story of using seat covers like:

and attaching bunch of straightened out fish hooks underneath. If you secure that seat cover to the seat, thief is likely to be waiting for you on the morning.

Just something I remembered for some reason.

Guys I tried doing this and now my car won't start, no crank, no click nothing.

I disconnected all harnesses from the fuse box to get to the fuel relay power wire and splice a switch into it.

When I reconnected all the harnesses from the fuse box and tried to start the car it wouldn’t start.

All dash warning lights are on including the immobilizer light and the car won’t turn off unless I disconnect the battery.

Also, nothing happens when I twist the key in the ignition, and it won’t unlock/lock any doors.

The power seats don’t work, and the trunk unlock doesn’t work.

The head lights and brake lights work as well as the wipers and wiper washer.

I’m not sure if this is the immobilizer system preventing me from starting the car because usually the key in the ignition would still allow the car to be turned off but now it does nothing.

I also have a long list of b codes displayed on the dash, but all the harnesses are connected.

I inspected all the wires I disconnected, and I didn't see any rips. And I double checked to make sure all clicked in correctly.

I don't think it's an immobilizer issue, but the key light is blinking.

I'm not sure if it is though because if I leave the key in the ignition when I disconnect the battery and then reconnect it the key light goes away.
