fuel pump is not priming on my grandma's 02 RL with 90k miles. I dont hear the wosh or wurr of the pump. truck is already tore apart, i was about to pull the pump out, but figured i would search the forum first.

seems like it might be the main relay.

 

Prbably is main relay, mine went at 9OK on my 02 RL
The relay is under the dash by the stering wheel. A Clinton manual will show you how to take off the dask panels which are touchy.

 

There is also a fuel pump relay in the trunk, located behind the carpet just below the rear seat access hatch. This relay is prone to damage from regular trunk use, and should be checked occasionally because of its unprotected location.

 

Stupid question, isn't operating the car checking the fuel pump relay?
