07 TL Treo 650 still having problem??
I noticed most of the threads on this subject were older and didn't contain any info on the 07. I figured they would have had the problems worked out by now.
I can connect my treo650 (Tmobile) to the HFL, make calls, signal meter...etc some of the time, but I've been having a problem lately which prevents me from doing any of this. My treo keeps saying "Connecting Bluetooth device" or something to that effect, makes a jingle sound, then repeats over and over and over every three seconds. The phone at this point is useless as this message keeps popping up. Did a reset and once the phone comes back up it goes into it's connect loop again.
Is there a way to get this working or do I need to get a different phone?

Try deleting the phone from the TL then re-pair it.

I have the same issue. I just got a 07/Navi yesterday so its still too new to know for sure, but the 07 is working better then 05. The one when calling always go to the handfree where on the 05 if i dialed, i needed to 'transfer' to get it there. Like i said, too new to really know yet. The navi is awesome on the 07 though.

It's not really an Acura problem... are you sure you're running the latest version of firmware on your Treo? My Sprint Treo 650 works perfectly. Having the latest firmware on your phone is key.

I once had similar problem once, and it ended up being a flaky version of an app that I had installed on my phone. 3rd party apps are probably the most frequenty cause of lockups.

I cant beleive with all the problems with my 650 and TL05 that i havent had any issues with the phone in 07. I had 4 or 5 different bluetooth unit replacements but never really resolsved the problem with after dialing the phone would reboot every X amount of times, but with the 07 perfection all the way.

I just got an 07 TL w/ Navi and paired my Treo 650 with no problem. It receives calls beautifully. However, even though I can go through the voice prompts to place calls, nothing happens. Anyone run into this? I know I can place them from my Treo and transfer to HFL, but trying to figure out why this is happening.
Granted, I *just* got the car and haven't really played around with it much, but just checking to see if anyone ran into this problem at first and if I'm doing something obviously wrong.
