I just got my 07 TL S yesterday and I have the 07 Nav DVD in it right now. I was wanting to find out if they have come out with a new DVD, can I just get the 08 one or will there be an 09 DVD I can put in my car? I want to get an up to date DVD in my car but I wasnt sure if there would be an 09 DVD I could put in. Thanks guys!

 

OState, first congratulations on your Type S. Second, you must use a disc designated for '07's and '08's. I think I updated my disc to the 4.64 disc, which is a white disc. The 2009's do not work off a disc anymore. Check on Ebay or on the Acurazine website for the latest available. Remember, it must be a white disc. Check to see what came with your Type S first. The disc player in on the right hand side of the trunk.

The 2009 version 4.73 white disc has been released and can be purchased on ebay.

 

Does the base TL use a white disc also? I was also wondering if anyone know a place to download it from instead of buying it on Ebay.

 

Yes the base TL uses a white disc as well, depending on what year your TL is. Also, you can't download it.

 

Actually guys, you can download it. I bought an updated disc from someone here on Acurazine. He downloaded it and shipped it to me. Sorry, I forgot his name because I haven't seen him on the forum for a long time now.

I can find only the 4.6x disc for d/l. The new 4.73 is not offered yet, but the Acura site has a promise of $149 (coming soon, limited time offer).

You should be able to get it for under $100 once it goes on Ebay.
