Yeah the navi unit is definitely outdated, I also installed a double din radio when I did this swap over to non navi. Yes it is possible to put the 07-08 screen into an 04-06 either navi or non navi TL. It requires you to repin the current green HVAC plug into the new blue plug for the 07-08 screen. Also, to my knowledge, any clock from 04-08 will work. So if you want to do the 07-08 screen just follow the write up that is somewhere on Acurazine, all you will need is the 07-08 screen and blue plug. I actually have a 07-08 screen with the blue plug that I will sell, PM me if interested.
