For some reason, my navi is not dimming the screen and using the night colors when my headlights are on at night. I have triple checked that in the settings screen, it is set to "auto", and when I manually press "night" mode, it switches everything to the way it should be, but the next morning I have to switch it back to "auto". Any ideas?

 

Try pressing the MAX button on the dash illumination controls to the left of the tach. If the illumination is in MAX mode, the navi will ignore the Auto setting. It is designed so that when you have your headlights on when it is raining during the day, the navi will be in "day" mode.

I remember when I got my 04 TL having this problem. I went to the dealer and at first they couldn't figure it out. After we looked a little, we both laughed at how dumb we were not to figure that out.
