'04 anti theft light but no "CODE" request on display

So I added an amp and sub to the trunk. I ran power and ground. For remote I used an "add fuse" thing which I located in slot 32 of the fuse box. I disconnected the factory sub and tapped into those which I connected to the HI connect on the amp.I got power to the amp but the radio doesn't come on, the red anti theft blinks but the word "CODE" does not come up on the display. The dsiplay illuminates, but that's it. Oh, it just started raining, and the car won't come out of park either. I know I need for it to display code before I can even do anything, just hoping someone has experienced this same thing with no display and has any ideas.

Thanks,
JP

Check fuse 32 (7.5) amp in the underdash fuse box.

Thats my concern. That fuse powers a few things including the audio unit and interlock solonoid. I would start by removing the fuse tap and see what happens. Let me know.

Thanks for the quick reply! I pulled the tap last night and put the orig fuse back, left the battery disconnected for about30 mins and then the car came out of park fine. Still no display though.

could I not be getting any display because when I used a line out converter from the stock sub wiring I left it disconnected from the stock sub? I mean, could the radio be looking for resistance from all channels and not getting it from the stock sub? Another thing, the display showed the phone icon when my wife got home and her cell phone was within range.

similarly, I have an 04 MDX. the power is out for the radio and the nav screen, plus the anti theft light blinks every 3 seconds, when the car is running. the power on this went out while driving the car through a carwash. If this is a fuze, can someone provide details on which one? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
