Are you trouble-free with your memory seat?
Does anyone have no problem with their seat memory? I mean, if you never lose your seat/mirrors memory since owning your car more than a month, could you post your possible VIN here?
Thanks...
P.S. Just like to know if the new VIN has eliminated this problem or someone with the early built 04TL has the perfectly-acting vehicle in this issue.
I hope there are not a lot of them...
Thanks...

VIN here is 750 and I have been losing settings in Memory Seats also. At first I didn't notice it, but I do now. I am the only driver of it, so its not a real big deal at this point, but I will get it repaired at first service. The car is still fanstastic though! Everywhere I go, I great comments on what a awesome car it is. White, with parchment, auto here. I love this car more every day. 3600 miles so far.

OK, so far, in two days counting, out of 20,000 04TL(5-15% of them may be here), we have only 5 ppl without this issue.
Good cars to them...

Are these lucky guys the solo driver? or Have they been frequently changing/using their memory seat's setting?
Any ppl else having no problem?

Intermittent, I just lost it again today. Interesting part is that while I was gone for the past ten days every time my wife would use her key (never been programed) it would set it back to my settings. Do I consider this a show stopper? No, but it is for sure a PIA to have to go back and rest at least one a month. Dealers observation was lock and unlock 10 time did not observe loss of settings, (Whatever).

You have a good VIN...
Well, I will say the test your dealer had done to you in the short period of time wouldn't get any fast results. Whatever 10 times or 50 times he tries, they may not get anything.
Most of issues seem to have memory lost after you luck your car or leave it alone for a whlie, maybe a couple of minutes or hours.
Sometimes I felt the memory lost, but it is actually still stored in the car and restored itself after running the engine or moving my tranny from P to D to P.
Based on what I know, so far there is no dealer yet to successfully reproduce this issue in their shop, however, they may find out it's gone next morning after parking for overnight in the lot.
IMHO, I expect Acura to replace the whole module.

I'm the only driver but I change the seat settings between 1 and 2 depending on how I want to sit. (Laid back or uptight!)

VIN in the 10000. The memory light goes on and off at whim. I don't think the settings are actually gone when the light goes off since the light comes back afterwards, but I am not sure since I am mostly the only one driving the car.

P.O.S. Seat memory, it just lost it again today, only hours after I reprogrammed it. (I am beginning to think that Microsoft may have had a hand in this) It even lost my HFL phone, after I reprogrammed the seat memory my phone miraculously was found by the HFL, I don’t know what this has to do with the seat memory but it has me baffled, but is definitely a P.I.T. A.!

IMO, I'd say this is not the problem at all. While your tranny in R position, the LED may go off until you keep shifting to D or P. Sometimes, it may go off while your key is not in the ignition.
As long as your memory is never really disappeared, you don't have Seat Memory Lost issue.

mine went out again today, when I put the car back in park the light LED came back on, after locking and unlocking and restarting the car no LED reset it again.
In addition if you have a phone paired to the HFL I have found that when the seat memory is lost so is your phone. So in addition to reseting your seat memory you will also end up re-pairing you HFL phone, and hard start proceedure as well. I guess next I will have to order a crank to turn the engine over, this is a Major computer related problem.
As if the tire issue wasnt enough, This has now moved to Major Pain in the A$$ status!
ACURA, I hope your Lurking as well as Working on a FIX for these issues.

VIN is 14xxx Have problem with memory loss. Also periodically have an "internal bluetooth error" on my phone periodically. In the past I have assumed that such an error was due to my Jabra BT-200 headset getting crossed with my HFL but this thread is making me start to question that. For all of those here loosing their HFL... Do those of you loosing the link have any messages on you phone when it occurs? If so, is it the BT internal error?

For me, the lost of seat memory doesn't affect my HFL setting. But, in my car, if I'm using Key Fob to lock/unlock my car, it's matter of time to lose the Seat Memory.
So, I use Spare key to open my car since November.

I was at my dealer at 6:00 pm tonight, and we reset the remotes to "factory default" settings! By 8:00 pm, they were gone after running a few errands!!!!
I didn't open the trunk, so that's not it ....
I did double-click to lock the car though. Anyone think that might be part of the memory seat problem?

VIN 14000. I had my TL for little over a month and have found 3 faults.
1. memorly loss
2. steering wheel off center (~10 degrees clockwise)
3. lining just aft of sunroof came loose. there is only one 1" X 1.5" tacky item that sticks the lining to the metal roof.
I'm not worried about 1 & 2, but item #3 maybe a problem down the road unless they use some strong glue. I live in an area where interior temperature can easily get in the 120F so any sticky substance may not last long. Anyone with similar problems? Look at the lining just aft of your sunroof and see if it is starting to separate.
