I have an installer in mind, asked what brand he uses and he said Johnson. I went to their site and it looks like metalic tint which will mess with my Nav. I've used 3M in the past and have liked it.

I currently have Pinnacle from Formula one..
less dark than metalic.. but I have no choice cause I have nav..

many report the metallized tint does not affect thier Nav.

I prefer Llumar Platinum Plus which is a metallized tint... I like it becasue it has a greenish mirror reflective tint, kinda like older Lexus SUV's had on the back.

No issues at all with my Nav.

Johnson also makes ceramic. It their Greystone line. I just got it installed last week and it looks good. I ended up with 20% all around.

I have 35% 3M Color Stable (CS) tint on my TL. No complaints.

I have 3M and I'm happy with it. I have very little experience with other brands but I have seen some tints that I like better than the 3M. Maybe its not something I can explain but it seems to have a cleaner look to it regardless of how you look at the glass.

I just had the Johnson brand installed Wednesday. I have 35 on side windows and 20 on the rear. I had a quote for 3M, but wasn't willing to pay $400.
