You ever got caught gazing?
Ever got caught looking at your car in a public place? Example: Parking lot, parked on the street, car wash...
Hahahaha yesterday I was picking up some small things from home depot and parked my car pretty much away from all others as I was walking to the entrance I kept looking back, looked forward to see where I was going and then looked back did this about 4 or 5 times... I noticed a guy and girl sitting in a newer STI hatch looking at me as I did my double, triple, and quadruple takes. At this point I felt alil embarrassed until the guy goes "Nice Ac, what did u do cut the springs?" In my head im like cut springs?!?!?!? I replied " thanks man no Im dropped on Coilovers" He goes NICE dude.
We talked cars for about 10mins said he's making around 450 to the wheels with new software, CAI, and exhaust from the turbo back. Sorry to get off track but any of my fellow aziners ever get caught gazing at your cars?
P.S. even took a pic when I was done in the depot lmao. Proud owner what can I say

And that guy with the STi is moron. No way he is making 450 to the wheels with those 3 mods alone on a stock turbo. Him just putting a CAI on his car tells me he doesn't know anything about Subaru's, the stock intake is actually much better. Sorry, I had to throw that in there.

He probably added up all the extra horespower numbers on the boxes of his mods

About that guy in the STi.... After asking if you "cut your springs" to achieve a lowered look and than replies "NICE dude!!!" after he finds out your on coilovers, I would not trust his ass at all when he claims "Im making 450awhp" on just a exhaust, cai, and flash.
Who the hell still cuts springs now-a-days to achieve lowered looks? Ricers.

on cars I dont care about I still cut springs. call me a ricer, but if the car still rides stock with cut springs i dont see the problem with it. lol, ive had cars with cut springs that ride better than my type s...
oh its possible. sad, but I still see untastefull mods on nice cars. it happens everywhere. you can blame it on those stupid f&f movies.

one time i was in my garage washing my car. then this 10-12 year old boy comes walking down the alleyway and sees my car. he goes "it's a TL-S! that's the best car ever!" and keeps walking.
that reminds me when I delivered pizza I pulled up to a house n there was a 10-13 year old son and his dad together in the driveway. as I pulled up the kid was pointing and jumping. I got out and the kid yelled "wow that's a acura TL dad!!! I like your car, it's really nice" I told him thanks and just laughed than his dad says "wow we're not used to seeing delivery drivers drive this nice of a car where we're from" and I could still see the kid checking my car out and yelling to his mom saying "MOM COME LOOK!! It's a TL!!!"
the dad told me to go see the mom because she had the credit card. I went inside (not hot, don't ask) and talked to her. she goes "Yeah he loves that car he always goes crazy when he sees it" I told her he has a good taste in cars.
as I was reversing the kid kept giving me compliments
I was amazed when I stepped out he immediately knew my car was a TL without even seeing the rear. he was at my front passenger side when I parked and got out.

I look back at my car EVERY time.

Yep, especially on Sunday & Wednesday nights (trash comes Mon & Thurs morning). What should take 90 seconds, takes upwards of 20 minutes.
I'll just stand in the garage staring.....
My wife just comes out, shakes her head and goes back inside the house.

When I'm driving my mom around and we get off, I keep looking back and admiring the awesome styling of my TL. My mom gets mad since I pay more attention to the car than when she is talking to me.
She wants a Honda S2000 and when she decides to sell her gas guzzling GMC Envoy XL she will get one. She loves to drive manual cars, than she would try to get me to become jealous of her car, and look at it rather than the TL.
Might sound confusing what I just wrote but I always bring up my TL in almost every conversation when I visit home from college. She always mentions how her S2000 will get more attention.

Sometimes I just say, "pues ni modo(well too bad), your going to get wet today" or "Your such a sexy slutty car" (friends think red = slutty) So when they get in my car they joke about my car being slutty since its a red color. IDK why. I should make new friends maybe? lol

when i parked outside with the car cover...then it would be more like..."time to put the blankie on for the weekend." after the weekly bath...or if the car was out in the rain without the cover, my car was thinking "WTF is this??? this weather sucks." LOL.
i think my neighbors catch me staring mostly as i stand back or i run my hand over the slick finish telling myself, "damn that's f'ing sexy!" OR i'm taking pictures.

@Mando my neighbor's think i'm crazy anyway for obsessing over the care of my cars. even in winter i'm out washing the car with the ONR. or seeing me off and on over the period of an afternoon STILL detailing the car.

LOL wow.... really!!! Mine dont talk to me because they don't like me. I always say hi to them and they ignore me. Strangely enough since its a quiet street(no one really outside), thats when I make my comments about my car, and the elderly man looks out his window.
