Yet another ceramic tint question...

Does anyone here have any experience with Huper Optik Ceramic tint or FormulaOne Pinnacle Ceramic tint? If so, what do you think about it? Please include tint%, interior/exterior color of your car, and anything else that might be relevant.

After reading your post I ran a search for "ceramic tint" and received 20 results. Huper Optik and Formulaone returned 6 each. Give it a shot...it's not hard at all.

Thanks for assuming that I hadn't already run a search. I did run a search, hence my title "yet another ceramic tint question..." Most of those threads dealt with cost, installer locations, and interference with electronics. I am not interested in those topics. I am curious about the quality of the tint/install (different tints are harder to install than others so they often don't look as good) and the overall appearance based on the tint % and interior/exterior color of the car. Any pics would be especially nice.

Sorry, but I didn't translate "Yet another ceramic tint question..." into "I've read all the previous posts but still have questions."

The two brands you listed are all I've ever heard referenced for ceramic tint on this site. There have been plenty of opinions given from owners of both in previous threads along with their percentage, pics and most people have their cars colors in their sig or profile. So excuse me for assuming you hadn't searched and read all the previously posted material.

After I read all the existing dialogue on the subject I deduced that both were high quality tints with the Huper Optik being the real high end material and thus the most expensive. I backed that up by calling my local, and somewhat local, dealer/installers of both and getting quotes. As far as quality of install I'm of the opinion that depends almost entirely on the installer. Of course recommendations always help in that regard.

I have the formula 1 ceramic on an NBP, 35% front windows 20% back and rear window. its awesome and looks great with my car.

I recently rolled down my windows and found two very fine long vertical scratches on the tint. Doh. stupid moleskin thing I didn't want to think about.

Thanks for the info. Didn't mean to get snappy, but I was just trying to get some info that I couldn't find with a basic search. I spent some time in the gallery, but not many people listed what type of tint they used.
