Would these headlights fit my 2004 base TL?

I'm not 100% satisfied with my Cleared/blacked Headlight project and I'm considering this.

 

Yes but make sure they come with ballasts because the ones from your old headlights won't work and can't be transferred over, they are a different size, too big. (I don't see them in the pic.)If u need new ballasts they are a bit pricey look out. Then you have to buy new igniters which aren't TOO expensive. Your side signal bulbs are different. Your headlights use 7443 and the other headlights use 1157 bulbs. Make sure they give you the caps that fit over the back of the bulbs that protect them. Besides that they are a direct fit.

 

One thing is a LITTLE shady......Hmmm it has the Type-S diffusor but does NOT have the inner DRL bezels. It has the inner fog-lights like a 04-06 TL.......Hmmm Looking at the joints of the headlights it appears that someone might have opened them up and modded them. This is a red flag because it is dishonest, they should have said that in the auction. Maybe the headlights are leaking?? Ask the seller before you put your money down. Tell him AZine knows better and is watching!

 

are those type s headlights? if they are then they wont fit like rockyfeller said because the ballasts are different.

250 is dirty cheap for a pair of types headlights though. they can run like 500 from dealer each i think

 

they were opened up and modded for sure because they painted the inside black. i dont think seller was tryin to hide that. stock lights dont look like that.

looks like theyre 04-06 lights, with types diffuser, and blackedout inside. make sure to ask him if theres any leaks/fogging

there isnt anything wrong with the lights, so you can get those just make sure to ask if theres anythin wrong with them (like fogging)

since these appear to be the 04-06 lights your ballasts should fit fine too.

 

I will ask and lets see what he say. I'll better wait for a better offer, or learn to deal with my crappy modified headlights. LOL

 

wow I ve seen those before on ebay and always thought they were type S. I never thought to look at the fogs. They look good though

 

They do not come with bulbs or igniter.
