flaw 1 looks just like a paint issue, you can get it touched up or repainted
flaw 2 maybe you can carefully sand it out? or maybe heat it up and melt or something if its glue
but both flaws do not rele mean the person before didnt take good care of the car, which is good, plus 24k is a pretty good price

I have 3 options:
1)Buy the car
2)Dont buy
3)Threaten to walk if they dont negotiate lower price or get them to fix the rear bumper
Am I being to picky? I always keep every car I own looking mint, I guess that why im bothered by these flaws...

So you haven't seen it in person? I would either negotiate a lower price or a price with the bumper fix included.
It's hard to tell of the dash has glue or if it's a scar from something mounted being ripped off.
I'd want to see/drive it in person before finalizing anything.
No, you aren't being picky.

Yeah, paying 200 bucks to fly out to see in person sucks. There is one I have seen in person near me but it doesnt have 2 tone interior and its a grand higher and not CPO. But the car is near mint condition.
Im uploading all the photos that the dealer just sent.

I did test drove this one a couple weeks ago, interior color was holding me back.

I wouldn't let that stop me. KBP is a really rare color...it is totally worth it. The interior is NBD IMHO. The bumper should get fixed. I think a 1000 dollar price drop would make the car worth it...
I already talked them down a grand, I dont think they will drop another.... Im just gonna have to wait till tomorrow and see what they say about my complaints. They may bend if I act serious about walking from the deal....
Flaw #2 can be resolved right away easily. Its something on the surface of the dash, it's just a matter of getting it off. Previous owner probably had something mounted there.
Neither one of those flaws is a deal-breaker. Careful touch-up will get rid of #1 (you're bound to get scratches/dings over the life of the car anyway), and #2 looks like residue from some double-sided tape where the previous owner mounted something, also easily removed. That's a good price for that car, as long as everything else checks out.
Good Luck!
Good Luck!
Dealers will often fix stuff like that and not let it hold up a sale. I looked at a CPO BMW a few weeks back. Car was mint except for a badly curbed wheel. Really chewed up. They offered to replace it if I bought the car.
For a CPO with only 29K, that's a great deal! A scrape or a ding here/there are the facts of owning/buying/selling a used car. It would seem to me that the wear/tear is already factored into the negotiated price....
You could always ask them to paint the bumper and see what they say, but even if they don't, you're getting a deal at $24K. If you really want the car, go for it. Good luck!

Well the decision is made, I backed out from buying it.
The sales manager Anthony is very polite and professional, and I would highly recommend Rallye Acura to anyone.
They offered to repaint the bumper and get the glue of the dash but I still declined.
I would love to have the car but I feel this is the more responsible decision. The car payment and insurance would put me at 410/mth which I can afford, but since 25% of my check goes into my 401k and a roth IRA it wouldnt leave me with alot of "play" money.
So for now I decided to look for a older higher mile TL w/nav. I found a 04 blk on blk tl/nav and 80k miles for 13k at a dealer closer to me. Finding something closer to my cash price I think is the wiser decision. Not having a car payment is great!
Thanks again everyone for the help!

I talked a guy down to 13k on a 04 blk on blk TL w/nav, 86k miles. The vehicle history report said that at 300 miles ago an acura dealer replaced the tranny. Should this be looked at as a good thing or a bad thing. Is it smarter to just look for a 05-06?
I never read all the threads on bad trannys' but from what I did research the 04s were the ones that had the most problems.

You will get various opinions on this question. Honda has or had automatic transmission problems to some degree with most of their V6 cars over the past 9/10 years. Depending on the dealer/day of the week/ position of the moon you may have a problem and get dealer or corporate financial assistance on a replacment transmission if needed. Some cars have had multiple replacements. There may now be a permanent solution.
Usually the older the car, the higher the mileage, the more likely a problem. I think it depends on your capicity for risk. Note that Consumer Reports on indicates a major transmission problem for 2003 TL's, MDX's and Accord's. The internet tells a different story. I would suggest doing independent research and making your own decision.
