Wood steering wheel/shift knob

How come there is no wood/leather steering wheel? And the wood shift knob that I've seen in pics from the Acura website the looks to be the same one form the old TL, that doesn't match the wood trim color on the '04. Anyone seen the '04 knob in person?

Wood Steering Wheel/Shift Knob

I would have preferred it if there was a wood steering wheel available for the 04 TL. Since there isn't (that I know of), I'll settle for the wood shifter. And yes, it does match the simulated wood grain of the 04 TL. It looks nice.

Wouldn't want either even if they were made available.

Maybe on a parchment or camel interior but with the ebony interior I like what I have. Maybe a metal shift knob would be nice but probably too hot to touch on a sunny day in mid-summer.

For the ebony a steering wheel with Carbon fibre (instead of wood) would look nice along with a carbon fibre shifter. I know MOMO has a carbon fibre shifter but does anyone know if it has a MOMO logo on it?

Hey waymay....is it possible for you to take a pic of your interior with the shift know in it? For some odd reason Acura shows the knob in a ebony(or was it grey) interior.

View my photo gallery, I have taken a photo of my wood shift knob. It matches the wood around the navigation as well as the doors.

This one has a logo on it's base but its not to overstated. To me it would blend nicely with the TL's interior.

Very nice. It would definitely compliment the ebony interior.
