Wish me luck...
I have the dash crack issue going on. I sent a letter into the head of customer service for the southeast region and he had a lady call me and set up a time for Acura to look at my car.
I showed the service writer where the crack has already been repaired once and is now starting to crack more.
Hopefully I will get a shinny new dash.
My car has just rolled 72K and they are still considering it so maybe others should give it a shot.

I do not, but will try and snap a few.
When I spoke with the lady at Acura I told her that I did some searching on the web (mainly here) and found that several other TL owners have reported this issues and Acura has replaced the dash under "good will".
As CarrieLynn says, there's another thread on this problem. What I notice is that everyone who has posted (I think) who tells his or her location is from the sunbelt, or even Puerto Rico. Have any Canadians had this problem? The dash takes a beating from the sun if you park facing south, and it would be worse the further south you go. I'm in the midwest and always park at work facing north, and so far I haven't had a problem. Mine's an 04.

Even so I have had several cars that were never parked in a garage, outside 24/7/365 and never had this type of an issue. My TL has its windows tinted, and looks as if it has been on the car quite a while and I always park in a garage.
If could understand Acura not standing behind this if it were a few cars, but there are quite a few people having this issue with there TL and it is not limited to the 2004.
What started to scare me is that from my search everyone that had a crack appear the following spring/summer would get more and the first couple would get really large.
I spoke with the dealer before they closed and they are waiting to hear back from Acura. I contacted Acura before I went to the dealer, I think this is a good thing because when I dropped my car off they got to to right away and my ticket went straight to the manager. Maybe with them knowing that Acura will be monitoring the whole service they want to get on it.
From what the service writer told me things are looking good.
I should have added that sun and heat are no excuse. The TL was only made in North America in 04 and Honda certainly knew what North American weather is like. They should make this right. It just seems to me that if you have an early 3G and no trouble so far it might be a good idea to do what you can to protect the dash from sun and heat. Where I work I also have the luxury of being able to crack the windows and moonroof.
