Has anyone that the installed/removed a wing spoiler felt a difference in their car's stability at highway speeds?

Reason I ask is because on one of my previous cars (98 Eclipse), I removed my spoiler to have it painted and noticed a big difference while it was off. The car felt a lot less aerodynamic and felt a little unsafe to be honest.

I currently have the lip spoiler and was just wondering if there is a benefit of installing the wing.
