Wing or nothing?

I have a wing on my car and I since I have full A-Spec, I think I kind of rock it. But my question is, would it look cleaner if I took it off? If I take it off, I'm not putting anything back on there (aka lip). I would leave it with nothing. So, leave wing or remove it and cover the holes? I have a buddy of mine who has the same color TL and wants my wing, so I could always trade my trunk with him. Opinions?

Wing (my car)...

Wing (not my color, just an example)...

Not sure how it'd look with nothing on there...

I would trade trunks and make it easier. The wing isn't ugly, I just personally prefer them with either a lip spoiler or no spoiler at all.

If you're getting bored with the look of your car and need something fresh then go for it.

The TL looks great with or without a wing spoiler.

I agree with machine on this. I like the trunk lip found on the type s but if I had a base I would go no spoiler.

It doesn't look bad, I just like the clean trunk look. Way smoother lines.

I have the wing with a full Aspec...got a quote to remove the wing, patch the holes and paint the trunk...$300...wing is staying.

if you think that your car looks fine with the wing, then keep it the way it is.

Lip spoiler looks the best on the TL IMO. I'm not really a fan of the bigger spoiler look on the TL.

Only certain cars really pull the wing off, one of them being Rockstar143, not sure what it is, just looks right on his car.

Post a side picture of the car.

That ass would look much cleaner de-badged and with a lip spoiler. Way too busy now, but the quads look good.

The car he shows as "his" is debadged, the "example car isn't.

Nothing would be better than that, but a lip looks best. Not really a fan of rear spoilers on FWD cars in general but the lip goes well with the body lines, wing is out of place and fugly.

I vote no on the wing, too big imo. I like a clean looking trunk with a lip.

I think if you have a-spec and big dual tips you don't really need it. That does more for the car than a wing does. However I wouldn't get rid of it if I had it.

I know it would be a little more effort and money, but you really should consider the Type-S lip. Especially with your A-Spec kit.

I personally love the standard type-s lip. Here's mine with the stock lip and A-Spec kit for reference. Have you considered a rear window lip as well?

Thanks,
Jon

Datderetl I don't know if I mentioned this to you before or not, but it looks like your rear type-s lip is sagging a little on both edges below the original bumper line.
