Just a quick question. I have never paid to have my windows tinted before, because I have seen some REALLY BAD tint jobs in the past, I just curious if you can recommend a brand of tint over another or is it really just the installer that does most of the Magic?

a place down the road does 3M tint, I am wondering what the recommendations are for tint levels on which windows, etc.

Try running a search for "tint". There is a lot of info already posted.

 

Stay with the name brand high end tint and you shouldn't have any problems.

Huper Optics - expensive but great heat rejection. My choice...Live in TX
Lumar - Had Plat Plus on my 02 TL-S
3M - Had smoke on old 92 Integra

 

Does your car have nav? If it does there were a few post about having to use high end ceramic tint vs. the metalic ligned tint. Do a search im sure you can find them. Supposedly in the owners manual it says something about this.

 

anyone know of a site that u can pick your car then pick the color tint u want to see how it is..i have anthracite car and am not sure if i want 35 percent or 50 percent tint..with ebony interior...i dont want to look at my car and see these black dark windows sticking out

 

I have 35% with Desert Mist and it looks fine.
