What's your budget?

I highly suggest the F1 Pinnacle series tint.

5% in the back and 50% up front doesn't look very good to me (contrast is too strong).. Personally I'd go 20-25% on the back windows (although function > form, so 5% may still be desired on the back). Below is a tint chart for comparison.

My suggestion, regardless of %.. Huper Optik ceramic all-around if you have the coin.

I just hang t shirts from the grab handles. Changing lanes can be difficult but it works

I agree with this.

kept my old car legal with 50% on sides and 5% in back and rear. Changing lanes at night and backing up at night were more of a guessing game that i would have liked. I am planning on getting my TL tinted and i am going to go 50% on the sides (keep it legal) and 20% on backs and rear.

I agree with the 20% business. That being said, you know what's legal, if you choose to follow it then you're going to have to go with something higher than 50, as the glass itself is about 70% transparent. If you put a meter on glass with 50% tint it would read 40 something and you would still be at risk for a ticket.

YOLO 5%

Here's mine with Llumar metallic tint: 50% up front, 15% rear:

There's enough of a difference not to get pulled over, but dark enough to block the sun and keep the inside cooler (I'm in NJ, so technically, no tint is allowed on the front windows). At 50%, it looks good and keeps me out of trouble.

A lesser difference is 50% up front and 20% in back (my wife's prior CTS):

damn 50% is the legal limit? here in CT it's 35% and I thought that sucked. I still haven't had my windows done for some reason but am either gunna go 20% all around or just the rear window and 35% for the rest. maybe 50% on the windshield but not sure if I wanna take the risk with having my balls broken but a few members here that I hang out with have their windshields done 35% and it's nuts lol
