Window Rubbing
I havent seen a thread on this topic so I thought I'd bring it up. I bought my 04 TL in Nov and window rub on my passenger door is getting worse and worse. My window now squels as it goes down. I now notice streaks on my window that might be scratches, haven't had the time to check. I am wondering if it is scratches, do you think acura will swicth out my window w/o much hassle. What really sucks about this prob is Im only 20 so i cant get a loaner. Makes it impossible to take my car in. I have no prob with anything else...leathers perfect....stereo is loud enough, never go above 30....breaks are good....rattles are minimum....headliner looks great....couldnt be happier with the car other then this, well and maybe the tires. : )

The Oracle of Acurazine!
Hey,
I got that scratch on passenger side window (the scratch was like 1 foot long but not half of it shows)... but I also got a dent in that door. After I got the dent on the door, and few weeks later I heard weird noise while the window was rolling up, and then in morning I saw a scratch. I haven't taken to dealer cuz they might say its happening cuz of the dent outside. So I'm going to get dent fixed and then take it to the dealer and see whats up. Maybe it is something inside that broked after getting the dent but might not be. I only hear window rubbing when it goes up not when it goes down.

I've been noticing the rubbing sound too recently on my drivers window when rolling window down. Don't see any scratching though. I'm concerned as I'm about to put tint on the windows. I'm guessing the molefelt will solve this problem as you will see in many other threads people putting mole felt on because of possibilities of your tint getting scratched.

This rubbing sound seems to only occur for me when the car is in cold weather. When it's midday and 70+ F, the rubbing goes away (as well as one two different rattles). My guess is the materials expanded and are flush.
